Hey now! Hope all is well in your world! I just wanted to shoot you a little update on the wheels you built for me about 3.5 years ago (NMSW velocity aerohead to DA 36h with the odd NJS slotted axels.)
They have over 15k miles (I commute, 18 mile round trip, on these wheels every day) on the road and too many laps at Dick Lane Velodrome’s, er, characterful track surface. They’re so good at the track that I gave up on tubies and sold my Zipp/DA wheelset (I’m not winning anything because of aerodynamics anytime soon).
Despite the abuse, I can’t seem to get them out of true. They roll as clean and smooth as they did when they arrived in the mail. John Dacey at Business Cycles in Miami, an absolute track guru, said they were the nicest build he’d ever seen. Who am I to argue?!
Anyway, thanks so much for such a fine product. Looking forward to a million more miles on these hoops.
