Joe,

I hope this finds you well!

We were last in touch when you were making wheels for my brother Erich, and for my friend Matt. The group of us had a fantastic time on that trip, with three successful transits over the Andes via 4000+ meter passes, and a crossing of the Atacama Desert.

All sets of your wheels (used by three of the four of us) were of course fantastic and perfectly reliable.

Snapshot attached at the top of the final climb. The picture shows pavement, but that’s only because tarmac began directly underneath the sign. The climb itself, from sea-level in coastal Chile, to 15,505′ at the pass, was an unholy mix of rocks and sand. We loved it.

Fast-forwarding to the present, we are all safe and sound at home, and dreaming of future travels.

At the moment I am putting together a disc-brake touring bike, and I would like to order a pair of wheels.

Niles
